In this workshop you'll learn to fundamentals of painting trees! From silhouettes, to forests in the distance, to up-close and personal details and textures.
Both beginners and intermediate level painters are welcome as we explore fundamental concepts for creating your own masterpieces.
I'll be painting along with you, providing live instructional demos, answering group questions and offer one-on-one guidance.
This class is limited to 4 participants at a time.

There will be a range of colors available. If you have specific colors that you know you wan tot use you are encouraged to bring them

If you have speciality brushes that you prefer you are encouraged to bring them.

The studio is located in the upstairs offices of the Fremont Commons Building. There is stair access at the entrance to the courtyard and elevator access at the rear of the courtyard. The studio is at the end of the hallway of the 201 Suites.
This is an intermediate level painting session that will be largely self guided. Artist and Breeze & Branch owner Liesl Meissner will be painting along with acrylics, providing live instructional demos, answering group questions and offer one-on-one guidance as needed.
This workshop includes the use of:
Stretched Canvas or Panel to keep of your finsihed works
Options are 8 x 10, 9 x 12, or 11 x 14
You are welcome to bring your own surface
A range of brushes are available to use, I recommend bringing your own if you have favorites
Pencil
Acrylic Paint.If you are bringing your own I suggest having at least:
Titanium White
Cadmium Red Medium Hue
Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue
Violet
Phathlo Blue
Phthalo Green
and Mars Black.
Paint Palette or Plate
- Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on or bring an apron.
- Feel free to bring any beverages or snacks.
* If you are bringing oil paints - Be aware that the studio is not set up for oil paints on a regular basis. Please bring your own odorless mineral sprits (no turpentine), linseed oil, jars/cups, and rags as well as a box for transporting your wet palette and painting after the session.
